New Accessory Customisation and Italian Localisation
Update 1.8.1 adds an additional customisation slot for accessories such as glasses and adds Italian localisation. We’ve also included numerous bug fixes and improvements to several existing levels.

New Accessory Customisation
Golfing in Aether now features wearable accessories, including glasses and eye patches for characters. There are currently 10 different wearable items available (excluding the left/right variations for eye patches). Eight of these are unlocked in the base game from the start, with two additional items unlocked by owning the Deluxe Edition or Deluxe Upgrade.
These accessories can be selected for all ball customisations featuring character designs with eyes, such as the face and insect designs. Each design has its own model or adjustments to ensure the accessories fit correctly, and each item also comes with a range of colour options, similar to the existing hats.
Once equipped, your chosen accessories will also appear throughout the game menu, including on leaderboards and during animations, as part of your character’s overall look.

Italian Localisation
This is the third update to introduce additional localisations, and this update brings Italiano to Golfing in Aether.
Although the Italian localisation has undergone QA, mistakes can still occur, particularly as it isn’t our native language. If you spot anything that could be improved, please let us know. Your feedback may help us make further improvements in future updates.
As part of this update, we’ve also made several improvements to previously added localisations to further improve their overall quality.

Canotier Hat
In addition to adding the Italian language, we’ve also introduced a themed hat: the Canotier, sometimes referred to as a Gondola hat. This hat is available to all players from the start and comes in a variety of colour variations.

Existing Level Improvements
Several levels have received minor changes to address issues, improve flow, and reduce frustration. For example, on Goofy Golf, the holes have been made slightly oval to make them easier to enter. This won’t make getting a hole-in-one any easier, but it should reduce frustration when you miss a hole initially and need to enter it from an angle.
Other levels, including Cauldron, Scorcher, Railroad Crossing, Leapfrog, and Behind the Tee, have also received minor tweaks to improve overall gameplay flow.
Additional Fixes
This update also includes a range of smaller improvements and bug fixes. See the full patch notes below for the complete list of changes.
If you encounter an issue, please report it through our support email. Even if you believe it may be a known issue, reporting it helps us track and address problems more effectively.
